Amritapuri originally Parayakadavu, is the main Ashram of Mata Amritanandamayi Devi, the world-renowned spiritual goddess, also called hugging saint. She is also known as Amma, which means ' Mother ' in many South Indian languages. The location is also Mata Amritanandamayi Math's International Headquarters.
