Pookode Lake is a beautiful freshwater lake in Kerala, southern India's Wayanad district. Pookode is a major tourist destination in the district, a natural freshwater lake nestling between evergreen forests and mountain slopes at an altitude of 770 metres. It is located 15 km from Kalpetta.
