Asramam Adventure Park -Sculptures,Open Gym,Mangrove Forest

Asramam Adventure Park is an  park in Kerala state's main city of Kollam. It opened after 1980 Located next to the pride of the Kerala, Ashtamudi backwaters, this place popularly known as Asramam Picnic Village. It is the main center of Kollam city's recreational activities.The Kollam District Tourism Promotion Council carries out daily backwater cruises in Boat Club houseboats, luxury boats, and speedboats. In all of India the mangroves near this park are very famous. There are so many endangered tree species that survive in the park.

The state's first open gym is coming-up at Asramam Adventure Park at a Rs.15 lakh rate. Morning walkers in Kollam city will be the biggest beneficiaries of this facility, arriving in the Asramam Maidan district.The significant attraction at this spot is the thick mangroves that grow on the shore of Ashtamudi Lake along the side of Asramam Adventure Park. The Kerala State Biodiversity Board (KSBB) has provided a Biodiversity Heritage tag for the Asramam mangrove forest. Asramam mangrove spread was habitat for mangrove species which were highly endangered by Syzygium travancoricum.One of the crowd pulling tourism programs in Kollam district is the boating program operated by Kollam District Tourism Promotion Council from Asramam Adventure Park.
