UIDAI gives you anywhere or anywhere access to your Aadhaar card. You can access and use your Aadhaar card anywhere you want to as proof of identity.

UIDAI clarified in April 2017 that "Aadhaar downloaded" or "e-Aadhaar" is valid and secure and should be considered in accordance with the printed adhaar.

How to download Aadhaar:

  • Using Aadhaar Number.
  • Use Enrolment Id
Steps to Download E -Aadhaar Using Aadhaar Number

  1. Type your Aadhaar or 12 digit UID code.
  2. A masked adhaar can be obtained. You can mask your Adhaar number in your downloaded Aadhaar Mask option. It partly covers your Aadhaar number
  3. Pass the verification captcha code
  4. Click on "send OTP".
  5. Enter the OTP recived on your mobile.
  6. comple the survey
  7. click 'Verify and Download'
  8. Your e-adhaar is secured by password. The first four letters of the name will be paired with the password in YYYY Year and the capital letter. YYYYY.
EID (Enrollment ID) step to e-Aadhaar download

  1. Type your 14 digit identification ID as shown on the registration form
  2. Enter  the 14 digit dates stamp printed on the registration paper.
  3. A masked adhaar can be obtained. You can mask your Adhaar number in your downloaded Aadhaar Mask option. It partly covers your Aadhaar number.
  4. Pass the verification captcha code.
  5. Enter the OTP recived on your mobile.
  6. Enter the OTP recived on your mobile.
  7. click 'Verify and Download'
