WhatsApp has just released a new update via the Google Play Beta Program that will bring the version to 2.20.198.11.The new Beta introduces the function Dark Theme that was long awaited.Over the last couple of years one of the most requested features in WhatsApp has been dark mode. Finally it is available on Android, now you can set dark mode for WhatsApp manually.
To activate dark mode follow these instructions:
- Open Whatsapp, touch the three dot menu in the upper right corner and select Settings.
- In Settings, select Chats (Theme, wallpapers, chat history)
- In Chats, select Theme and within Theme you will find Dark.
The messaging service will now have dark mode set up. Due to the green accents present in the interface, dark mode looks especially good on WhatsApp, and they add a bit of visual flair to the app.
