KTM's Duke is probably India's most famous motorcycle, with four versions-125, 200, 250, and 390. The Duke 200 had undergone a major overhaul earlier this year, with design now matching the 250 Duke.The KTM 250 Duke is a naked 250cc-segment motorcycle. The motorcycle's overall style is identical to , Duke 390. The front profile features a sleek headlamp style with daytime running lights in boomerang shaped LEDs. The fuel tank has sporty extensions and is muscular. The new graphics reflect an aggressive look for the  Duke 250.

The styling update doesn't include a difference in the tank's graphics, and even the color choices – Dark Galvano and Silver Metallic – are the same ones that were introduced with the BS6 update earlier this year. All mechanical components, including the WP USD forks, customizable monoshock, dual disk brakes and dual-channel ABS, tubeless tyres (110/70-17 front and 150/60-17 rear) will remain unchanged.

The KTM 250 Duke is powered by a 248.76cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder fuel injected engine with a maximum power output of 29.6bhp at 9,000rpm and a peak torque output of 24Nm at 7,500rpm. A 6-speed gearbox is coupled to the transmission.

It is fitted with front upside down WP forks and rear suspension with WP monoshock. The braking duties are performed by a 300 mm disk with a radially mounted four-piston calliper at the front and 230 mm disk at the back. The motorcycle earns a metal fuel tank of 13.5 litres, and the kerb weight is 161 kg.
