Maruti Suzuki has been Indian industry's best-selling carmaker for as long as we can say, and currently has a market share of just under 50 per cent. Maruti continues to focus on various mass-market cars and explores new segments.


On 2014 in India, Maruti 800 was discontinued which marked the end of an era.Maruti returns the 800 and renews the brand name as well. This will use the same engine that comes on Alto 800 but with a different design altogether.The three-cylinder engine is running on 796cc. The engine currently has 40 BHPs and a peak speed of 60 Nm.

In the next 7-8 months, Maruti Suzuki will launch at least six new cars in the country
