Xiaomi added a new collection of laptops to its RedmiBook range.The company today quietly launched a new laptop in China, RedmiBook Air 13, expanding its portfolio.
The laptop is now in the company's home market for pre-order and will go on sale from August 17th.With regard to the design of a laptop with an all-metal frame, Xiaomi 's Redmi claims to be ultra-light in weight at only 1.05 kg and measure just 12.99 mm thick.
RedmiBook Air comes with a 13.3-inch screen with screen resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and aspect ratio of 16:10. It supports gamut of 100 per cent sRGB color and brightness of 300nits. In addition, the display supports the DC Dimming feature.

The processor is the Intel Core i5-10210Y 10th generation processor which can clock a 4.5GHz Turbo Boost. This was combined with options for RAM and storage, 8 GB and 16 GB RAM with 512 GB SSD.
There's a 41Wh battery pack which promises up to 8 hours of use. The entry level model with 8 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD is priced at 4.899 yuan, while the higher end 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD is priced at 5.199 yuan. There is also a 65W USB-C adapter bundled with the laptop to charge it.
