Renault India first became known when Duster was introduced. In July 2020, on the back of its Triber and Kwid series, Renault announced sales growth of 75 per cent at 6,422 units.All is now concentrating on launching the all-new Duster turbo petrol engine, which the company claims is 'the segment's most powerful SUV.'
17 Touchpoints were added through April-July 2020. With this, the automaker now operates 390 sales and 470 + service touchpoints to support demand in both existing and emerging markets.
This year's Renault Duster compact SUV is all set to get a new 1.3-turbo petrol engine, and it was unveiled at Auto Expo 2020. Towards the end of August 2020, the turbo-petrol option will open in India. However, the organization has yet to finalize the launch date despite the coronavirus pandemic and the lockdown.
The new 1.3-liter, four-cylinder, turbocharged, petrol engine is being tuned to pump out 153 bhp and produce a peak torque of 250 Nm. The engine will be mated to a manual 6-speed gearbox, along with an optional automatic CVT transmission.
Renault India has announced that, alongside the new turbo-petrol model, the existing 1,5-liter BS6 petrol engine, which makes 104 bhp and 142 Nm torque, will continue to be on sale.
Design and styling we remain mostly unchanged for the forthcoming Renault Duster 1.3 Turbo Petrol. However, to distinguish it from the standard model it will come with red highlights on the grille and the foglamp frame. The rest of the bits will stay unchanged, including projector headlights with DRLs along with LED taillights and beefier bumpers.
