'Surarai Potru' is the latest movie to be directed by Sudha Kongara with Surya in the lead role, after the super hit 'Iruthi Sutru.' The movie is published live on the online platform. The film will be released on Amazon Prime October 30th.
The film was expected to release on April 9, 2020 but delayed due to the pandemic COVID-19. Suriya said in an online interaction with his fans that he is eagerly waiting to catch the movie on big screens. Suriya 's performance has won prize from the Film Certification Central Board. It was announced in August 2020 that the film would be released via Amazon Prime Video, and it was called off the theatrical release.
The Malayalee actress Aparna Balamurali is the film's heroine. Produced by 2D Entertainment, the film is co-produced by Guneeth Mongha of Oscar-winning Seikia Entertainment.
