Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath may be invited to lay the stone of inspiration for various public services at a mosque to be constructed in the Dhannipur village of Ayodhya by a belief created by the Sunni Central Waqf Board of State, one of its officials said on Saturday.

"A hospital, a library, a community kitchen and a research center will also be constructed on the five-acre land in Dhannipur village, which was provided for the construction of a mosque under the Supreme Court 's directive. It will be invited to the public and the Chief Minister, Yogi Adityanath, will lay the foundation stone for these projects" said Athar Hussain  secretary of Indo-Islamic Cultural Foundation (IICF).

For a  question as to whether Yogi Adityanath will lay the foundation stone for the construction of the mosque, Hussain said that there is no provision for laying the foundation stone for a mosque according to the four schools of thought in Islam — Hanafi, Hanbali, Shafi, and Maliki-.

Asked if the mosque will be called "Babri Masjid," Mr Hussain said, "There is no such idea, the name has yet to be finalized."

In November last year, the Supreme Court had paved the way for a Trust to create a Ram temple at the disputed site in Ayodhya and ordered the Center to grant an alternate five-acre plot to the Sunni Waqf Board for the construction of a new mosque at a "prominent" site in the Holy City of Uttar Pradesh.
