Reportedly, Google is preparing to launch a new Gmail logo. It is said that the tech giant has sent 9to5Google a preview of the new logo. There is still no news on the logo's availability, but it seems much like the logos that Google uses for its other services.
The possible redesign comes at a time when Gmail is becoming a hub for business users integrating Chat, Meet, and Rooms. On the user side of things, on Android and iOS, Google recently introduced a Meet tab. As such, it could very well be a new logo that represents Gmail 's evolution from a plain and simple email service to something more integrated and efficient.
The business rolled out a brand new logo for Maps earlier this twelve months, embraced by a revamped Google Photos logo in June. In reality, all Google companies now have a modernised logo with Google's trademark mix of pink, blue, novice, and yellow; apart from Gmail, which remains pink on white, as 9to5Google factors out.
The Google-shared teaser is more like a "M" than an envelope, although the white space still suggests an envelope shape.
