Google plans on releasing its smartphone Pixel 5.Google began inviting media representatives to a special, ambitious new hardware event on September 30. "We welcome you to learn more about our latest Chromecast, our newest intelligent speaker and our new pixel handsets,"

iPhones, typically beginning in early September, are postponed, and the pixel now begins in early October. We know that the Pixel 5 comes with dual cameras, and a punch hole display along with a more recognisable pixel design , based on leaked renders. There will be no Project Soli hardware on the phone this year, but the renders do display a fingerprint scanner installed on the back.

The surprises start under the hood where it is anticipated that Google's flagship will pack in the Snapdragon 765 G instead of a flagship 8-series processor. That will take some clarification, but it will hopefully also be reflected in the phone's launch price. A 90Hz display, up to 8 GB RAM, and a 4000mAh battery are also expected.

The FCC last month showed two new mysterious Google devices, appearing to be connected to a new Android TV app that Google has supposedly been planning for for some time. Google is rumoured to be working on a TV dongle called "Sabrina," using Android TV and a standard remote-driven user interface.
