In February 2021, the next-gen Skoda Octavia will be launched in India.Before the coronavirus pandemic disrupted proceedings, it was originally scheduled for a September 2020 launch, reported by indian autoblog.
International model comes with a range of power platforms, such as a turbo-petrol of 1.0 litres, a 1.5 litre turbo-oil, a turbo-oil of 2.0 litres and a turbo-oil of 2.0 litres. While the same 2686 mm wheelbase is available, it will be 19 mm longer and 15 mm wider than before. Some noteworthy bits are a unit replacing the previous split Quad-LED headlamp system, along with a large Skoda butterfly grille, which was tested in India.

In India, prices for the Skoda Octavia 2021 may start somewhere between INR 17 and 25 lakh. In India, the all-new Skoda Octavia will compete with the Hyundai Elantra and the Honda Civic sedans.
