Panchatantra is a renowned book by great writer Vishnu Sharma, written in three to four sections in the age of Guptkalin kings, primarily written about animals and small beings with a great deal of morality and understanding. One of the most well-known storys in the world is panchatantra. In many cultures, it goes by many names. Panchatantra is available in almost every major language in India, and 200 versions of the text exist in more than 50 languages worldwide.

It explains the core Hindu concepts of nitisastra in its own storyline, for the benefit of three ignorant princes. Whereas niti means the wise worldly behaviour or "the wise life behaviour.".Sastra is a science or scientific treatise,It is also considered a political science and human behaviour treatise.

Panchatantra Stories extracts and quotes them in depth from the Dharma and Artha sastra. It is also clarified that niti is "an admirable attempt to address the insistent question of how to obtain the highest delight in life in the world of men" and that niti is "the harmonious creation of the forces of man, a life that is combined in such a way with stability, wealth, determination, fellowship and good learning for joy."

Many scholars suggest that the tales have been written on earlier oral folk traditions, although there is no definitive proof. The Panchatantra text's Sanskrit version includes animal character names, but they have dual meaning. These names are imaginative. The names include the essence of the character, but also a human personality that can easily be recognised by the reader.

In the 4th–6th  century., though originally written approximately 200 BCE, the Panchatantra approximated its current literary form. No texts in Sanskrit had survived until 1000 CE.The job has gone from the sixth to the present day with several different versions and translations. BorzÅ«ya first translated the original Indian version into a foreign language in 570CE, then into Arabic in 750.
