With the brand-new Snapdragon 750 G platform and SoC, Qualcomm is today announcing a new entry into their premium tier Snapdragon 7 series. As its name implies, the new SoC lies slightly below the popular Snapdragon 765/768 series released earlier this year, but since it is a newer design, some new IPs are used, such as new performance cores based on Cortex-A77.

The new Snapdragon 750G, built on the 8nm process, comes with Qualcomm's X52 5G modem that supports both mmWave and sub-6GHz 5G networks in both SA and NSA modes. The X52 modem also supports TDD, FDD, and Dynamic Spectrum Sharing, and allows the Snapdragon 750 G to support multi-gigabit connections.

For smooth gameplay with low latency, the Snapdragon 750 G also comes with Qualcomm's Elite Gaming features.Compared to the Snapdragon 730 G, the Kryo 570 Processor clocked at 2.2 GHz, offering 20 percent better performance. There is also the 5th generation Qualcomm AI Engine on the platform that allows smart camera and video functionality, voice translation, AI-based imaging and AI-enhanced gaming experiences.

Up to Full HD+ displays at 120Hz or QHD displays at 60Hz can be supported by devices running the Snapdragon 750G.
