Royal Enfield will launch an all-new motorcycle on the Indian market, called the Meteor 350. The Meteor 350 will include some new feature of the brand which will make its debut on the motorcycle.
Meteor 350 is to replace Thunderbird 350 and Thunderbird 350X in the portfolio of the Chennai-based bike manufacturer. The motorcycle is built on a whole new codenamed 'J1D' design. Meteor will be the first in the latest 'UCE350' series to employ a brand new air-cooled 350cc engine which is expected to be more powerful. Beneath this collection is also creating the latest generation Classic 350.
It will be a long-stroke engine which will produce up to 20.2bhp and a peak torque of 27Nm. The current UCE engine, in contrast, produces 19.1bhp and 28Nm — 1.1bhp less and 1Nm more torque than the new engine itself.
The upcoming Bluetooth Digital Instrument Console will be the biggest update. The motorcycle will have a twin-pod configuration with the larger pod reserved for main details, while the smaller pod will act as the 'Tripper Navigation Device' on-board navigation system.
