In an act of moral policing, a group of women, including dubbing artist Bhagyalakshmi and female activists Diya Sana and Sreelaksmi Arackal, assaulted and spilled motor oil on YouTuber Dr Vijay P Nair for posting a video insulting feminists on YouTube.
The women reached the room of Vijay P Nair, who is staying in a lodge on Gandhari Ammankovil Road here about 5 pm on Saturday, where they raised slogans against him and manipulated him. While the Thampanoor Police rushed to the place, as Vijay Nair said he had no complaint, they did not register a case against the activists.Youtuber, with folded hands, apologised to the woman for upsetting them as the woman struck and shouted at him.

According to Bhagyalakshmi, because of the lack of response and intervention from the police and the Women's Commission on the matter, the activists also seized Vijay 's laptop and produced it before the police, seeking immediate action against him. The women's activists reportedly lodged a complaint against Vijay Nair with the Kerala Women's Commission, the Police Cyber Unit, the Women & Child Development Department and the Gender Advisor.
Vijay used to make sexually explicit remarks against feminists regularly on his YouTube channel,' Vtrix scene,' according to the complaint filed by Sreelakshmi.
