Flipkart has announced its Big Billion Days sale, the new version of its flagship. The company announced that the sale would begin on 16 October and continue until 21 October. Flipkart will host a variety of festive offers from lakhs of vendors, artisans, and existing brands during the six-day event. In addition, on October 15, Flipkart Plus customers will also enjoy 'Early Entry'.
Flipkart will offer offers and discounts on cell phones, TVs, home appliances , electronics, clothes , shoes, beauty goods, baby care items, toys, home decor, furniture , food and more as part of the launch. On an official microsite dedicated to the Big Billion Days , the company has already revealed a few of the coming offers. This includes deals such as the Poco M2, Realme C12, Infinix Hot 9 Pro and the LG G8X on smartphones.
Amazon.in, its Flipkart competitor, is scheduled to announce its sales dates next week. Snapdeal's value-focused e-commerce marketplace will host its first sale to coincide with the Navratri festivities in mid-October.
A RedSeer study forecasts that festive sales are projected to nearly double this year and cross 7 billion USD in gross merchandise value ( GMV) compared to 3.8 billion USD in the same time last year.
A variety of virtual learning and growth activities have been organised by the organisation to recognise and gain insights into best practise in order to optimise e-commerce benefits during festive seasons.
