A new device with a massive 6,000 mAh battery is being prepared by Motorola and FCC, EEC and TUV Rheinland certifications have been obtained, clearly suggesting a near launch.
Motorola recently introduced two budget phones, including India's Moto E7 Plus and Moto G9. It also released the Moto Razr 5G, which for most users is out of bounds, but the E7 Plus and G9 immediately hit the buyers' chords. During the Flipkart sale, the Moto E7 Plus is selling at Rs 8999 while the G9 is being sold for Rs 9999.
Apparently, at least four variants with model numbers XT2091, XT2091-3, XT2091-4 and XT2091-7 will be available for the device. There's also a fifth version that has the XT2091-8 model number, but under the Lenovo brand it will apparently be re-badged and sold.
The FCC listing apparently also revealed the design of the rear panel on these devices. The XT2091-8 will come with a triple camera setup and a physical fingerprint scanner on the rear, as can be seen in the image.
It is said to be marketed under the brand name Lenovo, while the XT2091-3 will be marketed as a Motorola product. The listing indicates that with 20W fast-charging, it will sport a 6,000mAh battery. Online speculation suggests that since the Lenovo-owned brand has been releasing big-battery phones with the 'Power' branding over the past few years, it could be marketed as the Moto G9 Power.
