In the Indian market, Hyundai has launched two new CNG variants of their entry-level Santro hatchback. With a price tag of Rs 5.87 lakh and Rs 6 lakh, the Hyundai Santro is now available in Magna CNG and Sportz CNG variants.
Both new CNG variants of the Hyundai Santro feature the same features and equipment list as its ICE-powered trims. The Hyundai Santro Magna CNG comes with features such as 2-DIN audio system, steering-mounted controls, manual AC, smartphone connectivity via Bluetooth and many others.
While the Magna Executive retains the same amount of technology as the outgoing Magna CNG, some features of the Sportz CNG trim are lost to the Sportz Executive.
A 1.1-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine is powered by the Hyundai Santro, which produces 69hp and 99Nm of torque in petrol guise and 60hp and 85Nm when running on CNG. While the CNG variants are only available with a 5-speed manual, the 5-speed AMT gearbox option is also available for petrol Hyundai Santros.
Items including a touchscreen infotainment system, electrically adjustable rearview mirrors, navigation, and an internal day / night rearview mirror are available on the Sportz Executive trim.
