Ransomware alert : Android phone users, Microsoft has a warning for you

This one doesn't encrypt the system, unlike various ransomwares. It merely freezes the screen with a message that appears to be from a law enforcement firm and asks for the screen to be unlocked.

The "name" notification takes advantage of this ransomware and the ransomware will be triggered until they receive an incoming name.

According to news, MalLocker.B takes advantage of the 'call' prompt, and the ransomware gets triggered when users get an incoming call. And the screen automatically gets locked when the user enters the home button or the new app button and you see the message about the fine.

It is recommended that Android users stop installing software or apps  from unknown sources and websites. Be sure to download it from the Play Store or a confirmed source if you need an app.

The malware code is simple and could only unfold on a few phones. Customers are really helpful in stopping applications from being downloaded from unknown sources. Although there is no evidence that this ransomware steals or does not steal private data, it has been reported that your Android phone could become almost ineffective.
