Apple can no longer offer, along with any iPhones, a free charging adapter and EarPods. A USB-C to Lightning cable for charging and data transfer requirements is the only free adapter that you can get with iPhone 12 series phones.
This move was introduced by the organisation in light of its environmental priorities. Apple plans to become 100% carbon neutral by 2030 in order to give you a short brief.
So it can slash the packaging by 70 percent by eliminating the charger and the Earpods from the iPhone 12 package, and ship more smartphones at the same time , which in turn will minimise shipping-related pollution.

The firm has given a more detailed description of its decision. In an interview with Good Morning America, Apple's VP of iPhone marketing said that many iPhone customers already have these accessories from their previous iPhones and so removing them from the iPhone 12 box made sense for the company.
People often already have all that [charger and earpods]. It’s sitting around in their house. They have multiple ones. And so, it was kind of not the right thing to do in terms of the larger environmental goals and the larger benefits to the environment.
