It is reported that Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is looking to launch new postpaid plans to compete better with other rivals in telecoms. These new plans are priced at Rs. 798 and Rs. 999 and, aside from data and talk time, they will offer many benefits.
The report further notes that BSNL is also expected to withdraw from its current postpaid portfolio a number of deals, including proposals for Rs. 99, Rs. 225, Rs. 325, Rs. 799 and Rs. 1,125. What's more, to better compete with private-sector competitors, the famous Rs. 199 package will now come with additional benefits such as data rollover and family add-ons.
Apparently, alongside unrestricted on-net voice messaging, 300 minutes of off-net minutes and 100 SMSes a day, it will come with 25 GB of data with up to 75 GB rollover.
The new plans, the option of Rs. 798, would give up to 250 minutes of voice calls to any domestic network along with 50 GB of data per month with up to 150 GB rollover, 100 SMS per day and up to two family add-on connections with the same benefits as the primary connection.
In the meantime, the Rs. 999 package will carry 75 GB of data with up to 225 GB rollover, alongside unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS a day and three add-ons for the family.
