Facebook is finally rolling out the Dark Mode feature on the main app for Android and iOS. For Android, the dark mode feature was already available and now the function is also coming for iOS users.

In a video collaboration with the firm's Alexandru Voica, Jane Manchun Wong announced the public testing of the Facebook Dark Mode feature. Go to the settings menu on the top right of the app and press Settings & Privacy to turn Dark Mode on. If you have rolled out Dark Mode, it will be available as an option here, which can be activated with a tap. Notably, the feature is still not accessible to all devices and only increases the number of users who have access to it on Android and iOS.

The parent company of apps such as Instagram , WhatsApp, and Messenger, all of which have Dark Mode support, is Facebook. It is therefore a matter of surprise that the tech giant waited too long for the planned functionality to be rolled out on its key application.

Messenger, too, has last year's Dark Mode option for users. For a few months, the feature was also available on Facebook Lite, so it was only a matter of time before it was rolled out on the main Facebook app.
