It is believed that Lord Shiva will easily be satisfied and grant their devotees the boon. One of the important ways to communicate with the divine and devote yourself to Lord Shiva is to chant the mantra.
In the scriptures, Lord Shiva is also called the God of Death. Therefore, Mahamrityunjaya is considered a mantra to chant victory over death.
Mahamrityunjaya Mantra has been written, including Shivpuran, in many texts. If it is to please Shiva, then it is best to chant this mantra.
The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra also known as the Rudra Mantra. The maha mrityunjaya mantra will assist you to tune into the healing force inside you that is always at work, help your development, raise you up in times of trouble, and remind you of the greater purpose of life.
The Mantra of Mahamrityunjaya starts with a letter. Long vowels and deep breaths make it pronounced. This is how the mantra as a whole is recited. Over and over, it is replicated. This causes waves in the channels of the Sun and Moon present in the body. Energy is circulated throughout our body throughout the seven cycles occurring. The body of the reciting mantra and the listener both have this connexion. The energy that the nadis and chakras convey. The vibration of these chakras adds power to the body and enhances immunity.
The fear of premature death (untimely death) is eliminated by chanting this mantra 108 with a Rudraksha rosary every day.
Orgin of Mahamrityunjaya Mantra
The only person on earth who knew about this mantra was Markandeya. The Moon was in trouble once, when King Daksha cursed it. Sati, Daksha 's daughter, was given the Mahamritryunjaya Mantra by Markandeya for the Moon. This is the Bija mantra, as revealed to Rishi Kahola, according to another version, given by Lord Shiva to the sage Sukracharya, who taught it to Rishi Dadhichi, who gave it to King Kshuva, through whom it reached the Shiva Purana.
The Mahamrityunjaya Mantra was used by many Rishis as well as Sati during the period when Chandra suffered from the curse of Prajapati Daksha, according to some puranas. The effect of Daksha 's curse, which could make him die, was slowed down by reciting this mantra, and then Shiva took Chandra and put it on his head.
