Chaturbhuj Temple is an ancient Hindu temple dedicated to Vishnu is situated near Ram Raja Mandir in Orchha ,  Madhya Pradesh.  It is believed to be built by the king of Orchha, Raja Madhukar Shah, during 17th century.  The name Chaturbhuj literally means 'one who has four arms' and it refers to Lord Vishnu.

The temple's architecture is a beautiful blend of temple, fort, and palace styles. It is one of greatest example of Bundela medieval architectural art. To the south of the Rama Raja Temple, the temple is located in Orccha city, just outside the Orchha Fort complex. It's located on an island generated by the Betwa River.

This temple was constructed after the queen Ganesh Kuwari had a dream in which Lord Rama requested her to build a temple for him, according to legend. The queen went to Ayodhya after receiving permission to construct the Chaturbhuj Temple to acquire an image of Lord Rama to be enshrined in her new temple. T Since the temple was still under construction when she returned from Ayodhya with the image of Rama, she initially kept the idol in Rani Mahal. The queen agreed to enshrine the idol at the Chaturbhuj Temple after the temple was completed, but the idol  didn't move from the palace. As a result, a four-armed idol of Lord Vishnu was placed in the temple, which became known as Chaturbhuj Temple.

For many years, the Chaturbhuj Temple was empty of any lord statues. In this famous temple, the Radha Krishna idol is worshipped today.

The temple is noted for having one of the tallest Vimana among Hindu temples standing at 344 feet.
